Anibal Garcia
At the Annual Meeting on January 29, 2010, Anibal was elected to his first term on the Board of Directors.
Anibal works as a paralegal and has co-chaired both the CenterFamily group for LGBTQ parents and their children, and the Center’s Voices of Diversity group for people of color, for the past two years. His work in the wider community includes the Say It Loud!: Black & Latino Gay Pride Planning Committee of In Our Own Voices and the Sanction Committee of Dutchess County Criminal Justice. Anibal’s goals include increasing Center membership and outreach, increasing member participation in Center activities, and holding more Center events in other parts of the Hudson Valley in addition to Ulster County.
