Fred Mayo
At the Annual Meeting on January 29, 2010, Fred was elected to his first full term on the Board of Directors.
Fred is a professor at New York University’s Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management, and also operates his own training, coaching, and consulting firm. A longtime member of the Capital Campaign Committee, Fred is familiar to attendees of the Center’s Gala celebrations as our auctioneer, a talent he has donated to a wide variety of other nonprofit organizations. Since joining the Center Board last spring, he has led a strategic planning process aimed at determining and prioritizing the Center’s short- and long-term goals. Helping to develop the Center’s infrastructure is one of his primary aims.
