Bonnie Wagner
Vice President of the Board
At the Annual Meeting on January 26, 2009, Bonnie was elected to three-year term on the Board of Directors. At the January 31, 2010 meeting of the board, Bonnie was elected Vice President.
A guidance counselor at John G. Borden Middle School and a longtime activist in the feminist community, Bonnie has been an active volunteer at the Center from the very beginning. She has worked on the Pride and Programs committees, the first Center Gala and the ComeOut and FindOut conferences, and the women's discussion group. She offers skills in grants writing, fundraising, program development, public relations and publicity. Her goals as a member of the Board are to expand Center hours and programs, increase Center membership, and expand that membership in communities of color.
Bonnie is a founding member of the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center.
