Jeff Rindler, Executive Director
Jeff Rindler is the Executive Director of the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center. In his role he oversees all operational, programmatic, and strategic aspects of the organization.
Previously, Jeff spent over 20 years at the Gay Men’s Health Crisis in New York City, the nation’s first AIDS service organization as their Chief Program Officer. He was responsible for all agency programming, Information Technology, Facilities and Building Operations and managing an 18 million dollar budget. During his tenure, he created and implemented the agency’s first workforce development program; interviewed, trained and placed over 700 volunteers and secured one million dollars annually in donated theater and event tickets.
Jeff started his career operating and managing his family’s office supply store in Ridgewood, Queens and has spent his career managing human services agencies since that time, especially ones that focus on LGBTQ individuals, friends and family members. Jeff is a board member of KUBA (Kingston Uptown Business Association), sits on the Ulster County Department of Social Services Advisory Council, an honorary board member of the National Working Positive Coalition, and a founding member of Governor Cuomo’s End The AIDS Epidemic by 2020 Older Adults Core Advisory Group.
