Key of Q, the Hudson Valley’s LGBTQ and Allied a Cappella Chorus presents songs from the Prom you wished you’d had! Prom attire encouraged!
Was your high school prom all you had hoped and dreamed it would be? Key of Q has chosen a selection of songs that describe the prom many people experienced: awkward, uncomfortable, and for some, perhaps even deeply painful, and prom we wish we’d had: the positive, fun, self-affirming, inclusive prom that ALL kids deserve to have!
All are welcome to The Falcon. No Tickets. No Cover. Donations Encouraged ($10 suggested). No one will be turned away for a lack of funds.
For more information, please visit Key of Q’s website at www.keyofq.org.
Key of Q is a group of LGBTQ and allied singers who travel from all corners of the Hudson Valley to blend their voices and perform beautiful a cappella music together. Formed at the beginning of 2016, they focus on mostly-modern secular music in four-part harmony. Common themes within their music include equality, love and celebration of unique identity.
