National AIDS Memorial Quilt graphic

On display through December 16th.

In partnership with the National AIDS Memorial, the Center proudly displays panels from the National AIDS Memorial Quilt.

The selected quilt panels were made in New York State and they honor the names of friends and loved ones lost to HIV/AIDS.

Since the first cases of AIDS were first reported in the US over 40 years ago, more than 700,000 lives have been lost in this country to HIV/AIDS. Today, HIV is on the rise, particularly among young people and communities of color. Quilt displays are used to raise greater awareness about the story of AIDS and the resources available within the community.

The quilt is available for viewing during Community Hours:

Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: 3:00 – 8:00 pm

Fridays: 3:00 – 7:00 pm
