Having Advanced Directives can be of particular importance to the LGBTQ community. However, it’s important to note that simply completing advanced directives isn’t enough.
Every validly executed advance healthcare directive deserves and legally demands recognition. Unfortunately, there have been tragic incidents involving hospital refusals to honor valid advance healthcare directives, simply because the directive involved same-sex couples.
This workshop will explain what Advanced Directives are, as well as how to protect your right to have them are enforced. Knowledge is Power.
A Notary Public will be available during workshop at no charge.
