“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation”–Audre Lorde.
As we reflect on our past and look towards the future, it is important to build rituals of self-care to sustain ourselves and our continued movement. Join activist, healer, licensed Social Worker, and certified yoga instructor Naimah Efia Johnson, and the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center’s Well-Being Institute, for a Black, indigenous, and people of color-centered yoga session. The Self-Care Cypher holds space for honoring and empowering each other, while we learn techniques for self-care. All participants will leave with a self-care starter kit!
