The corner of Wall and John Streets just got a bit more colorful!
Lavender and queerness have a long history together. While the connection has been used against us at times, lavender has evolved into a symbol of strength, protest, and empowerment for the LGBTQ+ Community. When it came time to repair and repaint our building’s facade, we knew right away that this was right color to choose, and we appreciate all of the positive feedback we’ve received from the community.

We’d like to thank the Kingston Historic Landmark Preservation Commission and Heritage Area Commission for understanding the significance of lavender in our community and issuing the permit for the color change.
