The July 6th Queer and Trans Hike is going to be at the Neversink River Unique Area, an area considered so special that the Nature Conservancy designated the Neversink River as one of the 75 “Last Great Places” throughout the US, Latin America and the Pacific regions of the world. 

On this hike you’ll find:

  • mountain laurel in full bloom
  • Waterfalls with rainbows
  • New and old QT friends
  • A meandering shaded trail with an excellent stream-side snack-stop rock.

Difficulty: this trail has mild elevation gain, and alternates between wide and narrow paths. The trail is just under 6 miles, and there are a few parts that have a brief period of steeper climbing or descent. If you want any additional details please feel free to ask!

Time: Meet at 10:30am. Hike will be around 4 hours.

Directions: Parking lot coordinates are  N41.5817 W74.6212 – or – put 754 Katrina Falls Rd, Rock Hill, NY 12775 into your GPS. Once you’re on Katrina Falls Road drive 3.5 miles to the end and park in the small lot. We’ll be there with flags
