Trauma Informed Yoga

Series of 4 Free classes!

Thursdays, April 14, 21, 28 and May 5

Tara is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher and has extensively continued her education with an emphasis on trauma-informed yoga, Yoga Nidra, children’s yoga, mindfulness, restorative yoga, adaptive yoga therapeutics, anatomy and bodywork, meditation, Ayurveda, and somatic healing. Working with adults and youth, it has been a dream come true to share the healing and grounding practice of yoga, and to be a conduit for the practices and teachings that have had such a profound impact on her life.

Using invitational language, Tara’s trauma-informed yoga class is open to all levels, including those needing to modify and/or practice in a chair. A well-rounded mix of physical movement, breathing & mindfulness practices, each class concludes with Yoga Nidra, which is a deeply nourishing, healing, and relaxing guided meditation, in which you’re guided out of the fight or flight nervous system and into the relaxation response, where healing and regeneration naturally occur. All are welcome. No registration required.
