Wednesday Wind-Up Writing Party

The Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center is excited to offer a new ongoing social Writing Party series, facilitated by The Generations Project, starting April 21st and continuing on the Third Wednesday of every other month through August, (June 16th, August 18th), from 5-6:30pm EST!

At each session, TGP facilitators will guide participants through a variety of short creative writing prompts, designed to help each person express themselves, share their story and get to know each other. No writing experience necessary! These are fun, accessible exercises to flex your imagination and get to hear the perspectives of other generations of LGBTQ+ people. April’s session falls just before Earth Day, so we’ll be exploring related themes: the Indigenous history of the land, the environment and our global queer community.
