First Friday Sound Bath is a 30 minute sound bath experience with the Centers music therapist, Timothy Doak. Sound baths are a meditative experience of deep listening and being “bathed” in sound’s vibrations from various musical instruments. Timothy will lead you into a meditative music space on the First Friday of each month from 5-5:30pm on Zoom. If you can’t attend, it will be available on the Center’s YouTube (https://bit.ly/2NXKtTS) after the conclusion of the sound bath. To register for the event, email email@example.com for the Zoom link.

The 2020 winter holiday season may look different than usual, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate. This year, we will celebrate online with something that connects people across many diverse cultures: food! Though we will not be physically together at the same table, we invite you to bring your own favorite meal to our virtual table for this intergenerational celebration of our community.
We will have a keynote presentation by Sonya Joy Key from the Poughkeepsie Farm Project and enjoy music from LGBTQ chorus, Key of Q!
This group is designed to help participants move through the grieving process that occurs as a result of the death of a loved one.
If you’re interested in joining, please contact Elizabeth Thomas LMSW at Hudson Valley Hospice: 845 338 5397 extension 2299 for more information.
