The Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center has many opportunities for youth and families to build community, find resources, and grow together.

  • Every Monday after school, the Center hosts a drop-in for youth! Work on your homework, eat some snacks, and hang with other young people in a safe space.
  • We have discussion and support groups for parents and family members of LGBTQ people, for transgender youth, and for transgender children and their families.
  • Check out one of the many teen dances we have throughout the year.
  • There are also many opportunities to get involved with LGBTQ groups at your high school.
  • Check out financial and social resources for LGBTQ students in high school and college.

The Hudson Valley Queer Youth Project organizes a monthly teen night for all LGBTQ and allied youth ages 12-19. Teennights features music, dances, workshops, artmaking, and friends. Planned Parenthood is on the scene to answer questions about sexual health and provide free HIV/STI testing. Suggested donation is $5 but no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.

Every third Friday, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
