Love On Wheels: Skate Night for Queer Teens & Allies

An empowering space for all Queer, Trans, Nonbinary & LGBTQIA+ teens in the Hudson Valley to connect and express themselves freely!
Teens are invited to skate, listen to great music, play the arcade, make arts & crafts, hang out with friends, and enjoy free food. The host organizations will be on site offering resources and ways to stay connected.
Peace & Protest: Songwriting Lab

Explore the power of protest music and create original songs in community. Drawing from civil rights anthems to contemporary songs of resistance, this workshop guides participants through songwriting, performance, and collective reflection. No experience needed.
Facilitated by Andrew Wolfson, Revival Jam Music Therapy.
There Are Things To Do TOWN HALL

Join us for a screening of "There Are Things To Do," an inspirational short film about the life of late LGBTQ+ activist Urvashi Vaid, followed by a community discussion about where we are now, what we can do at this pivotal moment in our community and country, and the role the Community Center can play.
This is your opportunity to share your voice, hear from others, and help shape the future of our Community Center. Refreshments served. Childcare provided.

LGBTQ+ Film Series: Yo, Indocumentada

We're excited to launch our LGBTQ+ Film Series, a monthly screening series featuring films that celebrate queer and trans experiences. Each screening will be followed by Q&A sessions and panel discussions.
Join us for the debut screening of our series with Yo Indocumentada, a 2013 Venezuelan documentary following three transgender women fighting for legal recognition and the right to their own identity. In Spanish with subtitles.
Presented in collaboration with the Kingston Library.
