The Board of Directors supports the Executive Director with finance and budgeting, fundraising, and high-level decision-making. 

The Board comprises up to 15 individuals across Ulster, Dutchess, Sullivan, and Orange counties. We meet monthly on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm on Zoom. In January, May, and September, in place of Zoom meetings, we meet in person at the Community Center on a Saturday from 1-3 pm.

Board members are expected to attend as many programs and events at the Community Center as possible, which often occur on weeknights and weekends. Board members are also expected to contribute to fundraising through personal contributions and/or soliciting others to donate. 

Board applications are received on a rolling basis and reviewed in February and September. If chosen, you will be asked to attend an interview with some board members and a separate meeting with the Executive Director. If you are not chosen, you will receive an email explanation. 

At this time, the board is seeking applicants with experience in fundraising and development.
