Seasons of Change A Mindfulness-Based Support Group
Wednesdays October 8th to December 10th 6:00 - 7:30 PM
This uniquely designed support group incorporates mindfulness to regulate emotions and foster insight, support, and healing while discussing a difficult topic for most: change.
Group Details:
8 weeks - once a week for 90 minutes
In person at Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center Wellbeing Group Room
Closed group to create a safe space
This group is open to individuals who identify as queer & LGBTQIA+
Facilitated by Johnathan Hornig, LCSW, Director of Wellbeing, and co-facilitated by Dragan Mitric, MSW Intern, Rutgers University.
With the goal of creating healthy changes in one's life, we will explore possible barriers and resistance to change in an affirming space. We will utilize the backdrop of the changing seasons as a guide for our work together. Our discussions, along with each member, will be treated with respect and thoughtfulness.
I look forward to meeting with you because you deserve to be here. Registration open until October 3rd.
