Our Programs

The Community Center offers a variety of programs, and does so in a variety of formats — in person, hybrid and virtual.
Many are offered at the Community Center. Others are offered at locations throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley. In addition to our programs, we host a variety of special events and gatherings.
Well-Being Services

The Community Center's Well-Being Services are dedicated to providing comprehensive, holistic wellness programming that affirms and uplifts all members of the LGBTQ+ community
The Rainbow Lounge

A relaxed meetup for LGBTQ+ adults 50+ to connect with community peers. In partnership with SAGE, this "hip adulting group" explores topics like aging with grace, mentorship, relationships, and the unique joys and challenges of growing older as LGBTQ+ individuals. Come share your wisdom and experience!
Mankind - the Men's Group

A supportive discussion group for men 18+ to explore masculinity, relationships, spirituality, and personal growth in a thoughtful, uplifting environment. Non-binary and trans men welcome. Share insights on topics ranging from identity and relationships to self-care and life experiences with like-minded peers.
Queer Kinship

A supportive community for parents, caregivers, and grandparents of LGBTQ+ children, plus activities for LGBTQ+ youth and siblings. Join monthly gatherings featuring confidential support groups, one-on-one guidance, community resources, and supervised youth activities. Every family deserves understanding, acceptance, and the tools to thrive together.

Looking for a cute activity for Valentine's Day?

Join us at the Community Center for Paint n' Chat! Celebrate love in all its forms with an evening filled with creativity, connection, and community.

No experience needed, just an open heart. Enjoy our warm, inviting atmosphere as our instructor, Ava-Jo, guides you through the activity. We'll provide all the art supplies you need to complete a love-themed painting. You bring the creativity.

Paint your truth. Connect with community. Celebrate love however it shows up for you.

$10 suggested donation to cover the cost of supplies.

This uniquely designed support group incorporates mindfulness to regulate emotions and foster insight, support and healing while discussing a difficult topic for most: change.

just like spring asks us to release the old and make room for new growth, this cohort explores letting go to make space for who you're becoming in an affirming space. We will utilize the backdrop of the changing seasons as a guide for our work together.

Seasons of Changehange

Saturday, February 21 | 4-6 PM | Limited to 10 participants

Join artist Pat Horner for a hands-on collage workshop as part of our Parts and Pieces exhibition. Pat will guide participants in creating collages using magazine pages featuring her son Scott's makeup work and other materials. All supplies provided, but feel free to bring special fabric or photos to include. Artwork created will be displayed at the closing reception.
