Well-Being Institute

The LGBTQ+ Well-Being Institute at The Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive, holistic wellness programming that affirms and uplifts all members of the LGBTQ+ community. The Institute’s work includes no-cost, culturally-responsive, short-term individual and group counseling along with a wide range of educational and wellness services to support individuals in living healthy and fulfilling lives.

Our Accountability Journey

In early 2020, the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center (the Center) received a very public call-out from community members, including a list of demands for action, in reaction to past harms experienced by some in the community. We’ve listened to our community are are taking action.

Cultural Responsiveness Training

The Center provides training on LGBTQ+ Culturally Responsive Care for educators, health and human service providers, schools, and government workers. This work is funded in part by the New York State Department of Health and the Dyson Foundation, and is available to your organization at no cost.
