Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Juliet comes to us from Manhattan’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual andTransgender Community Center, where she worked in the Finance Department. Juliet has worked with mission-driven non-profits and small businesses her whole life.

In her early 20s she trained as a volunteer Rape Crisis Advocate/Counselor in Seattle and became their Crisis Line Manager. She learned lessons at this grassroots non-profit that have held her in good stead all her life: listening/counseling skills; interrupting the dynamics of violence, oppression, and privilege; and self-care. She works for environmental justice and community resiliency whenever she can and received her Bachelor of Arts in Leadership for Service and Change with a focus on the Environment in 2020 from Antioch University.

Juliet moved to Kingston in 2022 with her partner and teenaged daughter and was thrilled to find such a lively queer community in the Hudson Valley! It means so much to her to be able to work at the Center and help give back to a community that has showed her love when she needed it most.
