Tara grew up in Red Hook and has been a resident of the Hudson Valley her whole life. After graduating from SUNY Polytechnic in Utica with a major in Communication and Information Design and a minor in Computer Science, she donated her time to the community by volunteering with Red Hook Responds.

Tara came out in college and found the Community Center when she was looking for a community in which she could be an active participant. As Program and Operations Assistant, Tara handles all things technical, including Digital Navigation services for the community, the donor database and social media outreach.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys playing various video and tabletop games, loves mystery novels and television, and finds joy in anything creative.
